The hotel exudes old-world charm, featuring beautiful stained glass windows and traditional Czech painted ceilings that added a unique touch to my stay. The interior is beautifully maintained, showcasing artistic designs throughout. The staff provided a warm welcome with a complimentary glass of Prosecco upon arrival, which was a delightful surprise. I found the breakfast choices to be excellent, with varying options each day, from fresh scrambled eggs to delicious Czech breads and good coffee. Its location near the castle is fantastic, offering a quiet atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. there were a few issues that detracted from my experience. The water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, which was quite inconvenient. the beds felt firm, and I would have preferred something softer. The Wi-Fi connection was slower than I expected, making it difficult to stay connected. While the room cleaning was generally good, a couple of areas were overlooked, such as some dust in corners.

The best and worst parts
Charming decor with stained glass windows adds an enchanting touch to the stay! The staff's warm welcome with complimentary Prosecco felt like a personal touch to enhance the experience.
The steep climb to the hotel might be strenuous for some, and the shower temperature fluctuated, creating some discomfort during bathing.

A charming historical experience
The enchanting charm of the hotel caught me right away, with its rich historical ambiance and delightful breakfast offerings that fueled my explorations throughout Prague.
The room I stayed in was quite dark, and I struggled to find adequate power outlets to charge my devices, which interrupted my downtime.

the shower temp was kinda all over the place, and the beds were a bit hard for my liking. not the best if you need a soft bed.

The historical charm of the hotel is unmistakable, with ornate wooden beds and painted wooden ceilings adding a unique flair to the experience. Breakfast offerings had a variety of choices each day that fueled my explorations around the area.
The walk to the hotel can be a bit strenuous, especially since it’s uphill from the nearest bus stop. Some rooms have inconsistent shower temperatures, swinging between scorching hot and frigid, and the beds were creaky, which disrupted sleep at times. the Wi-Fi was slow, and I encountered some issues with room cleaning. it felt like some areas were overlooked. If you need air conditioning, you may find the rooms a bit stuffy during warmer days.

Had a blast with my friends exploring the charming city. We loved the lovely breakfast and friendly service. Our stay was filled with enjoyable moments, especially walking through the colourful streets and visiting the quiet Mala Strana area, which has a lot of character. Later on, we visited the castle nearby, which added historical charm to our trip. Totally recommend it for an awesome group getaway!
One downside was that the room felt a bit cramped, and we struggled with inconsistent shower temperatures throughout our stay, which was a bit annoying.
